Every other year my YSA Stake takes a trip to the historical pioneer sites.
Mainly we were in Nauvoo and spent a few hours at the other places.

I almost cried when we had to switch drivers..
Fred, Ry, and I got to meet up with our friend Riley who is on his mission in
Independence! He gets home in 3 months and the boys are stoked!
The Rescue Squad! One day we went mountain biking and our friend Tommy
was being stupid and fell off a cliff..Fred and Riley gave him a blessing
and piggybacked him up the hill and the miles to the truck (hence the rescue squad). That night we
spend 5 ours in the ER and Tommy shattered his foot and was in a cast/boot for almost a year!

We went just to eat dinner near it, but ended up being able to do baptisms
for the dead early the next morning! The temple had only been open for 4 days!
