I was 10 years old. I was sitting in my kitchen eating breakfast
before heading off to 5th grade...
...And this is what I saw on the news. My school day consisted
of watching the news in every class...
...10 years later. We will never forget this day or the innocent lives that
were lost and the lives of those who fought and are fighting
to protect our country.
(I absolutely love this memorial, the two pillars of light where the two towers should be, beautiful.)
I love my country.
My thanks and love goes out to the victims of 9/11, our service men and women
who have died and those still living that fight for our country, and their families!
